I have been a fan of Indie movies for quite a while, those $200 million box office flops somehow just don’t do it for me. I get invites to screenings all the time, and it is a cold day in hell that I actually attend. Indie to me represents the ‘high road’ in movie making, it is not about the money, it is about the love of doing it.

Through a very strange set of events I discovered ReelConnect.com, and its creator and curator Matthew Wood. ReelConnect is a cross between YouTube and iMDB. They help the Indie film business by hosting movies. I liked the idea so much I sought Matthew out and interviewed him. After the formal stuff we chatted, and it became apparent that we share many similar views.

So it is with great pleasure that I welcome ReelConnect to Blogger News. Matt was a little concerned that if he wrote the reviews they might be a little skewed, so he has asked  an independent person Chad Clemans to select some of the most popular Indie movies on ReelConnect and not only review them, but offer a link so that readers can watch them from the comfort of their favorite computer.

Look forward to some great viewing.
