Hey Chuck, are you embellishing because you don't know what you're talking about or do you just like to lie? Not only was he not convicted of taking bribes in the Keating 5 scandal, after an extensive investigation, he wasn't even censured by the Senate. I heard the gentleman who was his lawyer at the time discuss that episode recently. He strenuously argued McCain had done nothing. The man was Robert Bennett, the same man who defended Clinton during his impeach. Not exactly a right-wing nut, that Mr. Bennett

Isnt it amazing that before all these scandals broke; Keating Five scandal of the 1980s (where he was convicted of taking bribes), The Vicki Iseman scandal(where it is discovered that not only does John McCain deal in the quagmire of the Lobby Industry, he was being paid by Vicky in a certian "Old fassioned way", giving a new spin on the old term "corporate whore" in Vicky's case), and now this new one out of the past where McCain used his position to strongarm anyone who one dared to tell the truth about his wife's drug thefts and opiate adictions with drugs thats were originally part of a charity organization, that ONLY NOW is this GOP candidate an acceptible choice among the "Right Wing". When it looked like this guy stood for "honesty, ethics and straight talk", they couldn' t stand him. Now he's ONE OF THEM!

Drugs and theft. Jail for other non-connected people. Sympathy and tears for Cindy McCain. I never thought there could be another couple in the White House more disgraceful than Bill and Hil-Liar-y Clinton. Well, if the McCains somehow manage to get in there, then Bill and Hil-Liar-y's lawlessness will have been eclipsed. McCain = GOP suicide.
