Those of us who are familiar with North Carolina politics, government and media are surprised at any non-positive mention of "Roy-Boy Coops" (aka NC Atty Gen). He saw nothing wrong with using public funds that were supposed to go to the schools for political campaigning explicitly violating North Carolina's Constitution. NC's political chain of command has its own "investigative force" which comes under the jurisdiction of the NC Attorney General, but, to all appearances, is used to settle political scores (say "SBI"). If there were an accurate and relevant methodology for measuring waste and rot in government, my state, North Carolina, might surpass Illinois and Louisiana. Our salvation is that the regular folks are some of the finest in the world.....Thank God!
