It would make a great movie actually. Interesting political/historical times, well developed characters, descriptions of surroundings that brought me into the action....Also, Elman's philosophical moments in the book struck a chord with my own biased ideas on the Self. I would put down the book to Google Map the places I found myself reading about (Paris, Belgium, Louvain) I highly recommend it. Its a brilliant read! It would make a great movie actually.
