[...] On February 20th, Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post and the Politico’s Mike Allen came to Georgetown to speak about the 2008 presidential election and the media’s coverage of the race.
Y'all wouldn't know the truth even if it punched you straight into the nose. MSNBC is the only news station I can watch. Fox is a crock complete with incomplete research. Bill O'Reilly is incredibly inaccurate due to his lack of research and then refuses to correct his comments when proved wrong. He turns off microphones when a guest starts to disagree with him or starts to tell the truth. "Fair & Balanced"???? I don't know of any other news station where they turn off guests microphones. I won't watch CNN anymore, Wolf Blitzer can be good at times but should be punched into the nose too. He has no sensitivity. Lou Dobbs speaks the truth most of the time but presents it like a 5 year old in a tantrum. That is too distracting.
I like David Schuster. He speaks the truth, he has great research and it looked like he was about to get a permanent spot, maybe replace the whiny Tucker who should be taken off camera and put into a very small cubicle somewhere. Tucker is way too immature to take seriously. Sometimes he leans to the right, sometimes to the left, can't make up his mind. I have no respect for someone who continually changes their stance.
On Keith Olbermann calling Bush dishonest and a liar, what's wrong with that? Its the truth. Too many people out there who can't handle negative comments about your leaders when its the truth. Bush and his crew should be in prison or on death row. Time for leaders who operate as if they work us, not as if they are following their own top secret agendas and flipping their IQ to the public. Bush put us $4 trillion farther into the hole with his self centered and top secret agenda. He has absolutely no intention of paying it off. McCain can't even spell economy. McCain has a very bad connection between his mouth and his brain. Great that he sat in the Hanoi Hilton for 5.5 years, but that wasn't exactly his choice. That's not patriotism, thats just someone who got caught against his will. I heard him say he wants our troops to stay in Iraq more than 100 years. In another comment, he said 10,000 years. That's not from an article, thats from McCain's lips. Those troops belong here, to protect our borders, not die in a meat grinder 10,000 miles away. We can't win a war where the terrorists are bussed in through porous borders faster than we can kill them. Their birthrate is faster than we can kill them. Anyone who has followed the situations in the mid East over the decades, knows those people want to kill anyone who is on their sand. No matter what the reason they are there, just get off of their sand. They're not going to follow us home, hell, they are here now. If they choose to, they can come from anywhere in the world, not just Iraq.

David Schuster should be fired and never work in broadcasting again. Why didn't he say the three Romney boys who didn't join the military (or noble cause) so they can help their father, he didn't he say anything about the Bush twins partying it up and campaiging for their father. No, he had to take a honorable, distinguished person who graduated with honors and never was in any trouble in her entire life like Chelsea Clinton. Poor Chelsea had to take jabs from everyone about her looks growing up from Saturday Night Live to members of Congress. But she took it all with dignity because that's how Chelsea is, she was raised to be a lady and she is one. Npw. she has the last laugh, she is beautiful and intelligent and a great role model to any young lady being picked on by bullies like David Schuster.

Beady-eyed Joe Murderborough (just Google his past
antics) is obviously a skirt-chaser and he and "Meeka"
couldn't make it much clearer that they are boinking
each other during lunch hour. It's already been
established a long time ago that Tucker Carlson is
a biased piece of right-wing dung. Matthews is a
smug turd who got torn apart big-time when he tried
to promote his new book on Jon Stewart's show. Both
Carlson and Matthews have plenty of reason to hate
Stewart, as he has exposed both of them for being the
morally vacant pieces of crap that they are. Now if
he could just do the same to "Morning Joe," who tries
to pretend he's become more moderate in order to hang
on to his last chance to stay on television. Last I
heard, his ratings were a joke.

Honestly, every article or news media item regarding any of the candidates, should begin with a statement about 'who' that reporter / journalist / media outlet supports before continuing the story. Take this article for instance. It should state at the beginning: "I hate the Clintons now the rest of the story..." If I want to continue to read, I will, otherwise I won't. I'm so tired of people claiming to report news...those days are long gone. Facts are meaningless in this day and age. I'm amazed at how little we really know about any of these candidates and yet people are so 'passionate' about them. I have the growing feeling that disaster lies ahead for this country regardless of who gets elected. NO ONE is basing their vote on anything other than raw feeling.

If it is as you say, "she deicided to be apart (sic) of her mother's campaign", then she wasn't really "Pimped Out" at all was she? It is funny that the very same media people on MSNBC who lambast the right-wing talkers for their remarks and lack of taste, have taken to the exact same tactics, ...and aiming at members of their own party, of all things.

MSNBC has become nothing but trash media, they have absolutely no balanced reporting on the election whatsoever. Keith Olbermann and his antics remind one of the behavior of a adolescent who although capable of some deeper thought, still can't leave off with the physical antics a nine year old. Chris Matthews program used to be a very good one but since they decided to go the route they've gone they've managed to lower the bar on that show as well. Scarbourough still manages to play an even hand.

First off, let me state outright that I am in NO way a Hillary Clinton supporter. In fact, I will never vote for her under ANY circumstance. I am a proud independent who is praying for an Obama/Richardson ticket at this point.

With that said: this was a completely stupid and indefensible remark. Shuster is a sniveling little nebbish who speaks like he's the past victim of a nerve gas attack, and I literally have to mute the sound every time he is on. Not only are his mannerisms and voice completely irritating, but he has a big mouth and a pompous attitude to boot. If this whiny little chump is the left wing's idea of a great media spokesman, then its no wonder they cant create their own version of Fox News.

But MSNBC is full of them, with Chris Matthews being almost as unwatchable as Shuster, with his shifty eyed leering conman smirk of self satisfaction, as if he really thinks that he is unbearably adorable. MSNBC needs to clean house and start over, the experiment failed. We turn to new channels for the NEWS, not to watch some self-adoring chump like Matthews (and the EXTREMELY overrated Olbermann) mug for the camera and pretend he's our media hero.

Or almost just as bad, effete mousey vapid shallow little WASP mannequins like Contessa Brewer, Alex Witt, or that candy colored clown they call "Heidi" on CNN and their breathy phony "thankSOmuch" to everyone from the weathergirl to the paid "analysts" who seem to live in their greenroom, gushing over one and all as if theyd just rescued their baby from a housefire. These women need to be selling jewelry on QVC or hosting Romper Room, not reading hard news.

And dont even get me started on "Morning Joe", with Scarborough and his flaky sidekick MEEKA doing a pathetic Ronnie and Nancy schtick, right down to Meeka's nauseating stares of adoration at her manly host-fella. We need another Cronkite in a MAJOR way.

I was never crazy about Imus, but in retrospect, he was the best thing on MSNBC (and a damn site better than "Morning Joe" in any sane person's universe). As for Shuster, please, PLEASE, Dan Abrams, cut this loser loose permanently. Then work your way thru cutting and pruning the rest of your lame staff and grade Z anchors and anchorettes, and try turning yourself into a real news agency. Your ratings will thank you.

Sound a little uptight there, but bias is bias..definitely Chris Matthews has been taking a stick to Clintons. Probably in a way more dishonest than I'd expect. Hav e you watched the NH primary, you'd see the palpable disgust on Matthews face. Mind you, I love the humor and slick package of Keith Oberman. Yes he is liberal for a change stronge voice for that point of view. Love Poltical news, Fox does bleed over with their agenda. Its Ailes network. Think at this point, know what we're getting.
