Extreme wing talk radio is destroying the reputation of the Republican party. It is one of the reasons that Republicans lost the U.S. congress and the majority of the statehouses over the past few years.
Americans have had enough of the far right wing garbage.
And Savage is one of the most obvious examples of extreme, sometimes idiotic, hate filled, far right wing talk radio.
Savage said one night on the radio that human life is mostly suffering, and that parents should teach their children that.
To him, that is probably true, life is miserable, life is suffering, because he is obviously a miserable guy.
You can't hate as many people as he does, without being miserable. He hates most foreigners and foreign countries, all liberals and most Democrats, and even most of the Republicans. He is a very miserable guy.

Just because Michael Weiner (Savage) makes some good points on his talk show doesn't mean he doesn't come across as a whack job. As far as the CAIR thing, I hope he wins, because in this day and age I wouldn't trust them if you paid me (I mean, when our own govt. has designated them as co-conspirators in a terrorism case, what more do you need?) but when it comes to other issues he gets way out there sometimes. The man has got a lot of hate in him - you can hear it in his words, whether they be written or spoken - and part of me wonders where it all comes from sometimes. I can't help but be curious as to whether some of it is rooted some event or events in his rather colorful past (his pre-conservative days). Plenty of people in this country are angry about the things they see going on around them, but they don't act like that.

As far as the rest of this - where is this blog entry 'trashing' Weiner's 'good name?' The blogger states that Savage is a bigot, and there are any number of statements on record which Savage has made in the past that paint him in that light; the blogger states that advertisers are pulling their ads from Weiner's radio show, which is true; lastly, the blogger makes some wisecracks about IQs and alternate forms of employment for Mr. Weiner (both of which are innocent compared to the things that Mr. Weiner comes out with on a daily basis).

That said, this blog has nothing to do with people "not being able to handle the truth" (Pfft. That phrase is getting old, and it's no more valid now than it was back when people started using it as a convenient catch-all to explain why some folks simply find shows like Savage's to be repulsive). It's about the people whose money goes to keep shows like Savage Nation on the air, and if they think he's a foul-mouthed, bigoted, right-wing, hatred-spewing, backwards-looking shock jock who's no better in his way than Imus, then they can pull their ads if they want to. It's their money.

It is ironic that on most blogs or articles that trash the good name of Dr. Savage there are mainly replies that defend him and agree with his point of
view. It makes you wonder whose IQ should really be questioned.
How many people read your blog Simon?

Proud member of the Savage Nation

Michael Savage proves that he is no weakling. He speaks the truth, even when the truth is unpleasant.

Because of people such as those in CAIR, our freedom of speech is under threat. So I hope Michael Savage wins his lawsuit against CAIR, and exposes them as a racist and fascist group, which they are!

Savage is the best. He calls it like he sees it, insightful and razor sharp.

Most people like you can not handle the truth. As well, a opinion that differs from yours.

Sad, very sad,
