		<description>In 1999, Schutzhund was an unknown sport to me. I wish a book like this had been around then. But I had better than a book, I had a new roommate who was an avid proponent of Shutzhund.  She used to spend her Sundays near Round Rock, TX, teaching her Border Collie the ropes.  All the other dogs at that Schutzhund gathering every week were German Shepherds, as I recall, many of them from German bloodlines rather than AKC lines.  Her Border Collie held his own amongst them.</description>
