It is ridiculous how many people don't want to secure our borders. Our current policies are endangering the wellbeing of the United States for generations to come. I think the first step is to eliminate the incentives of illegal immigrants to come. Unfortunately, some in Congress want to increase the incentive by providing subsidized college education to illegal immigrants. This will only encourage them to stay. I found a petition which is trying to stop this problem before it's too late, and, as we get more signatures, money is donated to help the Border Patrol protect America.

We must stand strong at this crucial point in America's history.

Jeez, talk about accenting the obvious. Lets start at your level from my pint of view. America is and has always been a country of immigrants. As they assimilate into the culture, they gain voting rights. Later on, they influence policy through voting blocs and general community involvement. Blocking immigrants is as wrong as ?? Same crap as the my Irish ancestors faced.

Crap.. If there wasn't a niche for the southern immigrants there wouldn't be jobs and they wouldn't come. Fairly simple, but for the American Dream. Quess who supports that dream, the brown skinned folks from south of the border. I say; give them a chance to vote, participate, and make America a little better.
