Apparently Mr. Angler is totally unaware that Senator Edwards took a group of college students (who gave up their Spring Break) last year to New Orleans and spent five days working like a Trojan in the filth and heat to clean up houses in the 9th ward. He was back again late last Fall with five people who won a contest to accompany him to NO to once again work in the 9th Ward. He has been commended for opening up a campaign office in the 9th ward by none other than Jesse Jackson. He is the only Candidate to do so.

If Mr. Angler does not get the connection between Mr. Edwards family experience and other mill families who have gone through the same or similar circumstances, then he is exceedingly dense or obtuse (perhaps by choice).

In 2004 the Kerry campaign spent next to no money campaigning in North Carolina which is the reason the state was lost. He was the Presidential candidate - not John Edwards.

Your hypothisis about Kerry's choice of Edwards for VP is ludicrous. He chose Edwards because he was the best choice. There is a prevalent school of thought that had the two candidates been reversed on the ticket that the Democrats would have won the election.

This whole article is a crock.
