But please do some sweet young lady a huge favor and admit to yourself and the boys how horrible it is when they speak to you in the way, especially, Shane does. It's an opportunity to break the cycle of abuse. I'm convinced that Verbal is the precursor to Physical abuse... If men would only realize that women are to be adored, appreciated and respected and act accordingly, they would find their own lives much fuller as a result. I would hate to see Shane or Colby walk the same path as their father since it IS a 'learned' trait. My prayers go out to you and Lauri...and Gretchen, too. While not sure exactly what to make of her and Jeff's situation - I'm convinced she has a kind heart. Jeana, you and Lauri are my favorites.
