Real life means jail time for one of the reality “stars” of the Real Housewives of Orange County.
Jeanna’s soon to be ex-husband, Matt Keough, was sentenced to six months in jail and had his probation reinstated. Judge Thomas Borris had the discretion to sentence Keough to up to 5 years in prison for violating the terms of his parole.
An ex-all star pitcher for the Oakland A’s, Keough’s troubles with the bottle has been a taboo topic on the popular Bravo TV reality series, Real Housewives of Orange County.
Keough, rarely seen during the series’ first two seasons, was battling his own demons, that of probation officers, rehabs, and attempts to curb binge drinking.
This season on Real Housewives has Jeanna dealing with the breakup of her marriage with Matt. The reasons given didn’t include Matt serving a seven week sentence in the Newport Beach City Jail.
NEWPORT BEACH – Former All-Star pitcher and “Real Housewives of Orange County†husband Matt Keough will be arraigned this morning on charges that he was caught binge drinking at a bar at the Fashion Island Marriott hotel, officials said. Keough, who is on probation for a 2005 driving under the influence conviction, is banned from having alcohol under his probation terms. OC Register
Truth is stranger than fiction on the Real Housewives set.
Keogh has eluded the strictures of the jailhouse for much of the reality series.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackIm a real o.c. mom and ex-housewife and I just love Jeanna and her kids and wish her nothing but the best.She is the only real mom and housewife on that show,the rest,well except for Tammy actually,are ridiculous.
I think that Jeanna is a great person and i wish her the best and i hope she finally finds someone that makes her happy…. And Tammy is one of the other housewives that really are real and not fake……
Jeanna~ I wish you the best as well to all the other girls. My heart goes out to Laurie and dealing with Josh. But want to Thank the OC Housewives for returning. Watching the ones from NY and Atlanta I’m embarrassed to say I am from the East coast.

Jeana, you and Lauri are my favorites. But please do some sweet young lady a huge favor and admit to yourself and the boys how horrible it is when they speak to you in the way, especially, Shane does.
It’s an opportunity to break the cycle of abuse. I’m convinced that Verbal is the precursor to Physical abuse… If men would only realize that women are to be adored, appreciated and respected and act accordingly, they would find their own lives much fuller as a result.
I would hate to see Shane or Colby walk the same path as their father since it IS a ‘learned’ trait.
My prayers go out to you and Lauri…and Gretchen, too. While not sure exactly what to make of her and Jeff’s situation – I’m convinced she has a kind heart.

she was very bravew and aggresive until she phoned Simon after the big fight, she did not shed a tear (crocodile ones) until she phoned Simon, doesn’t she know everything is on camera? Mind your own business Jeanna.
