Cerebral, we Ron Paul supporters probably know more about our candidate than any other group of supporters knows about theirs. I know EXACTLY what he stands for, I know what his voting record is like and he is the best pick by far. Oh, but I'm sure you voted for obama the bank puppet. That's ok though, you're not the only one who fell for it.

THOSE WHO DO NOT SUPPORT DR RON PAULUS COMING REIGN OF LIBERTARIAN TERROR IS EITHER A NEOCON, J.E.W OR ON THE TAKE!

Repeat this until you have achieved a pure, doubleplusgood mind. Remember, opposing DOKTOR RON PAUL is thoughtcrime.

On a related note, I bet you faggots were the same who voted twice for Bush and now think you're saving the world by voting for this pseudo-libertarian, paleoconservative kook. You really don't know what his actual positions are, do you?

One of my favorite lines from above is "Let’s just say they’re not the kind of supporters you would typically see for a Republican candidate, and frankly not the kind of people a Republican candidate would want support from." This to me is hitting the nail on the head not everyone can control where and even why they may be getting support from certain groups. People in general will put a spin on anything they want to make it adhere to their way of thinking.

Everything I have read/watched regarding Ron Paul has been straight forward as far as I can see. As opposed to the other canidates who tend to stutter or answer questions with questions. The mainstream media has shown Paul in such a negative light with none other than information that has already been debated. I find it quite ironic that the same shit as you politely call it keeps circulating during the debates/primary voting times. The above responses have relayed the information that debunk a lot of what you've said so I won't repeat.

The only conclusion I can come to is that Big Goverment has been in place so long that people are affraid of change. That they aren't going to be getting the handouts that they are accustom to and that they are going to have to become more responsible for themselves. I don't beleive that there is anything wrong with that other than it will make a stronger America with a sense of self.

It's really interesting to see CNN post this on the day of the South Carolina debate. These stories flooded in on the day of the New Hampshire debate. Wolf Blitzer discussed this with Dr. Paul:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=pLUmfZWIZsc

This "news story" makes it appear that this is breaking news although it has been already addressed. Although it attempts to make the appearance that it is balanced, it does Ron Paul more damage than good. For example, the title of the story should be "Ron Paul states that he did not write letters against blacks, gays." So please explain to me why CNN has re-hashed this story when Wolf Blitzer had already addressed this and Ron Paul has addressed this many times. I hope the motive was not to do damage to Ron Paul instead of report the news.

You've cut and pasted the EXACT same quotes as every other novice blogger out there, and some were taken out of context, some were proven not to be his.

..."Hippie-types, Anti-war, 9/11 Truthers, Communists"... yeah, these kind of people would gravitate towards Paul because of some under ground racist newspaper.

By the way, anyone who purports to be a Communist is diameterically opposed to EVERY Paul says about the domestic economy.

You're embarrasing yourself "Chris". Time to get a job.

Ron Paul has been my Congressman too. I live in Missouri now but I was born and raised in Texas.

I'm really shocked that this even showed up at the top of my Google Alerts as a legit news source.

I agree with the folks above. This is garbage.

Ron Paul supporters, be of stern stuff - of course, they will smear Dr. Paul with such charges - a conservative like Dr. Paul attracts adherents of all stripes and some of them will be racists.

Ron Paul is an adherent of Austrian economics; his economic gurus are Jewish. He clearly states that he believes that people should be viewed as individuals and not as a member of groups based on superficial physical characteristics. He has been very clear on this.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you...

Sad, Kirchik, sad.

Little whiny monkey rehashes accusations that have been made for years. Some psychos hijacked his newsletter while he was out of Congress, and he stepped up and said "my bad, should have been paying more attention even though I was busy being a doctor". His views on racism are very clear, and he supports neither white nor black supremacists as they are all collectivist idiots.

Do a little research on Kirchik the apparatchik. He's a third rate mudslinger. Shame on Tucker for having him on.

I absolutely support Ron Paul as an honorable, forthright, sincere, honest man of integrity and wisdom for President in 2008. I have never seen a candidate of such caliber...too bad the sheeple have been brainwashed for so long by the real owners of the country...they can't recognize excellence when it finally gets into the election process despite all efforts to squelch it.

Typical slanderous nonsense. It is a shame that renegade ghost writers define a man's character more than war mongering, civilian-slaughtering and possession of itchy nuclear trigger fingers. Theft, genocide and endless lies seem to be the new badges of normalcy, while Dr. Paul's campaign of truth, honor and freedom relegate him to the fringe.
Disgusting.

Do a google search of jamie kirchick the author of this outrageous crap journalism. find out who he is. he is widely criticized and made fun of by other journalists for not checking his facts. He is a college kid trying to make a name for himself. He has spent the last year attempting to smear ron paul. All of his smears have been proven inaccurate. This is just the latest one for which he had to go way out on a limb saying that ron paul has a secret code language with the skin heads. he actually said ron pauls message may sound like a message for liberty, but it is really a secret code with the skin heads. that is the most laughable smear of his yet. seriously people. he couldn't even get the first fact of his article straight. he said ron paul was in the army. ron paul is an air force veteran. if he can't even get this most publicized fact right, how much truth do you think this moron can come up with.

Press Releases › Ron Paul Statement on The New Republic Article Regarding Old Newsletters

January 8, 2008 5:28 am EST

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – In response to an article published by The New Republic, Ron Paul issued the following statement:

“The quotations in The New Republic article are not mine and do not represent what I believe or have ever believed. I have never uttered such words and denounce such small-minded thoughts.

“In fact, I have always agreed with Martin Luther King, Jr. that we should only be concerned with the content of a person's character, not the color of their skin. As I stated on the floor of the U.S. House on April 20, 1999: ‘I rise in great respect for the courage and high ideals of Rosa Parks who stood steadfastly for the rights of individuals against unjust laws and oppressive governmental policies.’

“This story is old news and has been rehashed for over a decade. It's once again being resurrected for obvious political reasons on the day of the New Hampshire primary.

“When I was out of Congress and practicing medicine full-time, a newsletter was published under my name that I did not edit. Several writers contributed to the product. For over a decade, I have publically taken moral responsibility for not paying closer attention to what went out under my name.”

This is old hat. It didn't stick before, it won't stick now. The articles were obviously not authored by Ron Paul.

Nice try. Got a problem with the constitution, rights, sound money, peace?

But can't argue cogently against them? Try attacking the messenger.

It says a lot more about you than it does about Ron Paul.

Only The Mentally Minuscule Take Words Out Of Context To Bend Them To Their Preconceived Paradigm.

If you refuse to look at the actions of a man for temperance of judgment then you truly castrate you mind and make it easy to arrive at wrong conclusion.

The weak minded are easily led by the bridle of emotion.

Racism is not consistent with the philosophy expressed by Ron Paul. He has rebutted these accusations from the same distortions in previous days.

Ron Paul is the only candidate that I would trust with my money and my family's safety.

I Vote For Virtue; I Vote For Ron Paul !!!

ARLINGTON, Va.--(Business Wire)--In response to an article published by The New Republic, Ron Paul
issued the following statement:

"The quotations in The New Republic article are not mine and do
not represent what I believe or have ever believed. I have never
uttered such words and denounce such small-minded thoughts.

"In fact, I have always agreed with Martin Luther King, Jr. that
we should only be concerned with the content of a person's character,
not the color of their skin. As I stated on the floor of the U.S.
House on April 20, 1999: 'I rise in great respect for the courage and
high ideals of Rosa Parks who stood steadfastly for the rights of
individuals against unjust laws and oppressive governmental policies.'

"This story is old news and has been rehashed for over a decade.
It's once again being resurrected for obvious political reasons on the
day of the New Hampshire primary.

"When I was out of Congress and practicing medicine full-time, a
newsletter was published under my name that I did not edit. Several
writers contributed to the product. For over a decade, I have
publically taken moral responsibility for not paying closer attention
to what went out under my name."

What they reveal...

You didn't even read the biased tnr article did you?

He didn't write them. There is no evidence that he did. The writing is not his style. He has said things that are the opposite of what appears in those newsletters and he was practicing medicine at the time since he had dropped out of congress and ran for President as a libertarian in 1988.
