Tim, a sidekick of TV bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman, turned himself in to authorities Friday after a shopping center security guard reported seeing him naked in his pickup truck, performing a lewd act, police said.
But Tim Chapman’s lawyer insists his client spilled juice on himself and was just changing clothes Thursday night.
Tim Chapman and the security guard obviously didn’t see eye-to-eye about the event.
In fact, Chapman, according to the guard, tried to get “up close and personal” with him–with his truck.
The guard told Chapman to put on his clothes and get out of the truck, police said. After dressing, Chapman started his truck and drove over a sidewalk, nearly hitting the guard, then drove off, police said.
Fame has its benefits.
And its drawbacks.
The guard told police that “he recognized Chapman from Duane Chapman’s show “Dog the Bounty Hunter” and that he was performing an unspecified lewd act.”
Several questions came to mind after reading this.

Isn’t it amazing up until the tape insaodent with the Dogs son. You never had anything in the paper bad about about the Dogs family of bounty hunters. And all of a sudden everyone is out to get them and get their name in the paper. Security guards and all I see.
I really dont get any of it anymore. With all we know about them thet still get respect. How low those that look up must be to see them as people to look up to. Most good people dont have rap sheets and how often do people that really care of others rights get sued? Why would the security guard lie, he was doing his job. Look at the history of any of them and tell me if they were your child would you be proud of them? Most of the world is out of their f@#$ing mind praising the Chapman family.
So here it is August and the big question remains “What happened to Tim on this fondling thing?” all I know is he’s not on the show so whats up?

I think Tim’s wife had post partum depression, that comes sometime from giving birth and some women get this? After the “Dog” incident that cancelled the show, Tim was unemployed, maybe?
His wife was affected mentally and should have gone for councilling, both of them. It’s a shame that it turned out so badly for Tim, because he was trying to better himself and lead a decent life! (They are targeted by angry or jealouse people, because of the show and the job they do on it. He deserves another chance, because of his contribution to better society from drugs, robbery, sexual assault etc. Mentally, he also was going through a rough time in his life and his wife should not have gone for a divorce right away without going for marriage counselling and some medical checkup.)
People lie to get their pictures and or names in the news all the time I am not saying That is what the security guard did!, Just that it happens all the time! The Bounty Hunter has been my favorite TV show for as long as they’ve been on. BUT….I’m not nearly as interested without TIM on the show. What Happened? Will he be back?

I dont know why Tim isn’t on the air anymore, I dont know if it’s the Chapman family or the network that has him off of the air. It could be that Tim himself decided to leave after what happened. Like most everyone I want him back and think the show is less than it was since he is not there and like most I want to know what’s going on. For those that are bashing the cast of Dog the Bounty Hunter I’d like to ask them a question. If everything you did in private was made public and the world was looking at you and pointing…..what would people like you be saying about you?

I missed Tim on the show. But as for his legal problems. He is a good family man. You are in my prayers. Hope you return to the show real soon. No one is convicted until proven guilty. The truth will come out. God bless you Tim and your family.

Hello from the UK. Can i just say how much i love Tim and i will not be watching “Dog” until Tim is back, he is the show! I find the allegations hard to believe, but if they are true then Tim needs help notand to be made fun of or taken off the show, that’s just unfair and unjust. I love the show however i din’t know that tim may or may not have done that. this is to you flint- the family is not lowlifes just you if you love tim that much then there is something wrong with you. none of them take more cridet then anyone else, the show just goes into more detail with dog,beth, and lyssa then others so shut up.
Tim was found not guilty on all charges. Anyone who wants to see him back on the show needs to contact A&E and let them know

Why is everybody pissed at Dog? ( for not letting Tim live with him during his time of need). I would bet my frigon house that the story about Tim separtating from his wife and living in his truck is all BS. It makes perfect sense why he would even have a change of clothes in his car. I don’t know about you but I think the fact that Tim was served divorce papers on 1st day the trial started, is a little too coincidental.
I personally didn’t like Tim at all. I like everyone else. He made me sick time and time again I saw him get real ‘tough’ with the convicts AFTER their handcuffs were on. Screamed bloody murder, once they were shackled too.
Remember the show with the girl that gambled her whole life? She was the first person Dog met when moving to Hawaii and she told him what DaKine meant in her language….I’ll never forget Tim describing the area where the illegal gambling was taking place…’It’s an area where criminals get together and conduct their criminal activities’….barf. I believe very much in the Chapman family as well as I believe EVERY family has its own problems. Hopefully, Dog and Beth have Young Blood come back to the show, because the “family” is what made the show. Personal life should be just that “personal.” Sure, we would all like to know different things about someone on the show like “God love Beth how in the heck does she run much less walk in those high heels” but we should not be here to JUDGE any of them.
