The dog which was euthanised A) was a dog, and B) hadn't murdered anyone in cold blood, thus the dog was deserving of a respectable passing. The murdering animal who gunned innocent people down throughout the DC area and terrorized an entire region, does not deserve a dog's death. I know of quite a few families who would like to see him shot in the kneecaps and allowed to writhe in pain for a few hours before being put out of his misery.
