>>You just made my point. You are putting your judgement into a box, and it comes out Bushyhitler, never mind a thousand years of history

No you just made my point. Bush isn't a fascist. An idiot perhaps. About as conservative as a stump perhaps. Led around by those in the administration with an agenda, yes.

Unfortunately the majority of the Islamicists (not even a good made up word really is it?) aren't planning to 'take over the world', they're not 'coming to get us', and unlike the communists and fascists of the 20th century have no army to speak of. The IRA? Oh my you have drunk from the well haven't you? I suggest you step back a few years further to 1918 and look at the partitioning of the Middle East by outside forces without the full will of the individuals living there.

This is nothing more than one corrupt politician using certain groups within his sphere of influence offing another corrupt politician. Both sides being funded, currently or in the past, by US foreign 'aid'. Reason #1,044,256 to cut off 'aid' to all nations

No Islamicists?
You just made my point. You are putting your judgement into a box, and it comes out Bushyhitler, never mind a thousand years of history.

The present Islamicists are similar to the communists and fascists or the IRA for that matter, in that they hate those who try to be reasonable so they can put a utopian government in place. Their main enemy are moderates who would put in honest government without fanaticism...Michael Collins, Mahatma Ghandi, Ninoy Acquino...

Indeed, the two million dead because the Islamicists insisting that India be partitioned in 1948 suggests it is not the fault of the US.

And Bhutto was photogenic, but she was as crooked as they come...I'm sorry she was killed, but there's a lot more going on than you think.

the saddest part of this assassination is that no one offers unconditional condolence. While Musharraf blames the militants, Sharif draws his daggers on Musharraf, India thinks of its national security ans as always US and UK harp on democracy which really doesnt work in south asia. May her soul rest in peace.

"Ron Paul, beloved of a lot of “Catholic” pacifist greenies, blamed her death on Bush’s backing of Musharref."

What? You mean that crank Ron Paul believes that the backing of a military dictator encourages terrorism? That sounds almost like what that crank, Benazir Bhutto said in a interview that will be published in the new year.

"[Bush's] policy of supporting dictatorship is breaking up my country.' I now think al-Qaeda can be marching on Islamabad in two to four years." - Benazir Bhutto.

>>the Islamicists will take over

Just who the heck ARE these Islamicists you hawks go on about? Seriously I want to know. Perhaps it's time the government of these US quit looking for boogeymen under the bed and actually go after the one person responsible for 9/11 (Bin Laden, another former employee of our CIA). BTW, from the words of the woman who was killed today trying to overcome years of these US propping up another dictator....
--------------
What would you like to tell President Bush? I ask this riddle of a woman.

She would tell him, she replies, that propping up Musharraf's government, which is infested with radical Islamists, is only hastening disaster. "I would say, 'Your policy of supporting dictatorship is breaking up my country.' I now think al-Qaeda can be marching on Islamabad in two to four years."

-------------
Course then again what would she know compared to analysts with an agenda. After all, she was just running for office in Pakistan......the only reason the administration is upset is that they saw Bhutto as a replacement for Musharaff.

Just another lesson about mucking about in affairs that are none of our business the bloodthirsty won't learn from. Oh well let's bomb 'em eh? After all, we KNOW they have WMDs....
