Ron Paul excites passion like no other candidate we’ve seen for awhile–on both sides.

Ron Paul is a true candidate for We The People.
Aren’t we all tired of the same old establishment candidates? It seems like neither the Democrat nor the Republican establishment candidates can ever get it right. They all seem to try to outdo each other in terms of spending, getting us deeper and deeper into debt and leading us into bankruptcy. We are dangerously close to that right now. Ron Paul knows that the only way to get our great country out of the financial mess that we are in is to cut spending. This can be done by paring our government down to about 30% of its current size. Ron Paul will work to eliminate the Federal Reserve, IRS, income taxes, and wasteful and abusive beauracracies (Department of Homeland Security).
Ron Paul will bring our troops home, not just from Iraq, but from all over the world. He will bring them home to do what they are supposed to do: Guard our own borders and protect our collective ass and not those of other countries!
Ron Paul has a proven track record of stating the same things over and over again for his entire political life. The only thing I have known him to change his opinion on is the death penalty. He used to be for it, but now he is against it because of the inequities in our justice system where the rich can by and large buy a verdict.
He won’t listen to the corporations.
He won’t listen to the lobbyists.
He won’t listen to the special interests.
He won’t listen to foreign governments or the United Nations telling us what we should do.
Ron Paul WILL listen to We The People so long as our requests are in line with our beloved U.S. Constitution.
Put Ron Paul’s track record of what he says against what he has done and do the same for all of the other candidates of any party, and you will see that he is the only one with absolute consistency. We can trust this man. He is not going to sell us out. He is a true patriot, who cares about the United States of America, a free and sovereign America.
Apart from a Ron Paul Presidency, we will get fascism in this country PERIOD!
Vote for Ron Paul, and PLEASE for God’s sake PRAY for him. There is no doubt in my mind that the traitorous powers that be in this country would very much like to silence this man for good. I can tell you in no uncertain terms that if Ron Paul is done in, I for one will automatically suspect my own government.

Life-long republican who will be voting for Ron Paul. Although I may not agree with him on all of his positions but he has a 30 year history of honesty and consistency so at least we know he will do (or attempt to do) what he says.
We voted for Bush’s platform of lower taxes, smaller government and no nation building and instead were given more taxes, higher prices, increasing government intrusion and never-ending war.
Instead of voting for “the lesser of two evils”, this time I will be PROUD to cast my vote for Ron Paul.

Huckabee scares me on a lot of levels. I think his Fair Tax would be better than what we have, but not nearly as good as getting rid of the IRS altogether.
I am a 38 year old veteran and I am voting for Ron Paul because I feel that he is the only candidate that takes the Oath, of defending the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, Seriously.
He is an Honest Statesman Who governs with Integrity based upon Principle.

Dr. Paul is the only candidate I feel I can support because he is one of the few running who are not a member of the CFR and already in bed with big business. I don’t fully agree with all of Paul’s ideas either, but I strongly support his stance on foreign policy and the economy. Although immediate withdrawl of all our overseas troops may be a little extreme, he is also one of the only candidates for complete withdrawl from Iraq. Both Clinton and Obama want troops to remain there until at leat 2013. I agree with Paul that this war and foreign occupation is something we cannot afford and will lead to a massive amount of debt. I for one, as a tax payer, am tired of paying for this war. It is hard to believe that all the other Republican candidates still support the war and troop surge. I think they are shooting themselves in the foot there as most polls suggest around 60% of Americans are agianst the war. Guess they’re really aiming to win over that other 40%…
Honestly, I want to like Hilary because I think a female president is long overdue. But I cannot support one who will roll over and sell out to giant corporations like the medical industry at the drop of a hat. Plus, we really need to end the Bush-Clinton-Bush regime. No more, please - It’s time for change

I agree. As much as I hate to say this; I sense a deal of intolerance and even racism in Huckabee and this scares me as well. Paul is every bit of a devout Christian. Please don’t just vote for a candidate because religion is a part of their platform.

For once in my life I am excited about voting. This isn’t just a vote for the lesser of two evils, this is a vote for an HONEST candidate that has more integrity than the main stream media give credit. I think most agree that our foreign policy is hurting more than its helping and its about time we looked after the needs of OUR country before the needs of others. We need less war mongers in the oval office, we need our country back!
Not since the days of James Madison, Thomas Jefferson and george Washington has the American Public been so fortunate to have a candidate like Ron Paul. the others in the GOP are all fatally flawed candidates. Does anyone really believe that any of the pro iraqi war neocons running in the GOP if they were to obtain the nomination have a prayer when 70% of the American Public is against this war???? No they don’t, so in reality even if we didn’t have a giant of a man in Ron Paul he is the only one who can defeat the Democratic Nominee.

i’m not quite sure how i stumbled upon this little blog, after all, i was searching for ron paul related news. i thought i’d post, mostly because i’m a big freaking liberal! and, i LOVE ron paul for 08. why do i intend to vote for him? pretty much the same reasons all of you republicans out there do–i agree with his non-interventionalist foreign policy views. at home, i think we’d all benefit from restoring the constitution, and dissolving the (illegal) federal reserve and IRS.
i’ve been so impressed by the outpouring of online support for dr. paul. here’s why. republicans, democrats, libertarians, whatever–are all rallying behind him. we are a deeply divided country, and we’ll never overcome the great crisis facing our nation without reaching across the “party lines”. we are all the same, as citizens.
what we need to realize, however, is that the republicans and democrats in washington and in state capitals across the country are the same, as well–they all answer to corporate interests, and care not for the rest of us. so long as they keep their seat in the house.
ron paul, above all has given me hope that we will see a positive end to this reign of corporate terror that has gripped this once great nation.

Happy Holidays I’m in WV and I still belive in the Consitution and therefore support whichever canidate will follow the instructions left by our forefathers. Some say Ron Paul is kooky our forefathers were Masons and they were considered Kooky too.. I just want someone in charge that isn’t being paid by the highest bidder.
Remember the media turns to name calling and labels in order to package us into a category in an attempt to dismiss us.This is a tactic used many times in the past.The present movement towards a smaller less powerful federal government is growing exponentially and they are getting desperate.With the new tools on the net people have the means of deciphering what is fact from fiction so the old media is less of a factor and at the same time people are hungry for the truth and freedom.Simply put,we want our Country back.

I am voting for Ron Paul in the repub. prim. in Vt. I have never voted in a primary, but always in the elections where I will write in RP if neccesary. We supporters never mention weaknesses and we should. I focus on the supporters. The zeal is great, but we need to cut back on the conspiracy stuff. RP has explained the cfr in main stream media interviews, and he calls it an idealogical difference not a conspiracy. 9/11, no need to go there I think. Believe what you want to believe, but remember the goal is stop calling him Dr. Paul and start calling him President Paul. I may not believe that 9/11 was an inside job, but I considered it and studied it enough to be convinced that our “leaders” took advantage of the situation, they did not create the situation. Now, don’t get defensive. All I’m saying is we can beat them with the known facts. We are spending ourselves into the next great depression. We are borrowing two billion dollars a day from China. We are torturing prisioners and destroying the evidence. I appeal to your sense of the greater good in this regard. We MUST get Ron Paul elected. To do this people like my mom have to vote for him too. We can’t turn them off with things they will just consider crazy. I don’t think you are crazy, I understand why you think our government could do these things. I just don’t think they actually did them. Do you want my mom to vote for RP or not? If you just want torail against the establishment keep it up. If you want to say “President Paul” stop.

I have never been very enthusiastic about politics. It seems like every time we elect a president we are more or less just choosing the lesser of two evils. It seems that the two parties we have in our country are just two sides of the same coin. You really never have a choice to vote for someone who is truly independent and who truly cares about regular people.
This year is different. I have never been as excited about a presidential candidate as I am about Dr. Ron Paul. Dr. Paul believes in the Constitution and he is not ashamed to say it. He’s honest and straightforward. He doesn’t take money from the Washington lobbyists or big corporate interests. His support comes from regular people from all backgrounds and all parts of the country. I am excited to finally have a genuine straight-talking person to vote for.
Dr. Ron Paul is by far the most conservative candidate running for President. He wants smaller government. He wants to gradually get rid of the income tax. He wants to end the war in Iraq because he believes that it’s time for our troops to come home. He believes that our country should only go to war after Congress declares war, as stated in our Constitution. Most importantly, Dr. Ron Paul is a regular person with common sense. He tells it like it is, and he’s not afraid to take positions which seem politically incorrect.
As an obstetrician, Dr. Ron Paul has delivered more than 4,000 babies and he is staunchly pro-life. He wants to overturn Roe vs. Wade and return the issue of abortion back to the states. He wants to secure our borders and end illegal immigration. He is also firmly opposed to amnesty for illegal aliens.
Ron Paul’s message is one of freedom and liberty. He wants to protect the rights and freedoms that we all have as Americans as defined in our Constitution. We have strayed far from those principles, but we finally have someone who can bring us back.
Love him or hate him… the man stands for what he believes and part of that includes leaving me alone to make my own decisions and to get the government’s hands out of both my pockets. He’d bring the troops home as quickly as feasibly possible and cut the waste in government. The states can handle their own affairs on most issues and that’s all I ask.
So where is this map??? We are strong Ron Paul supporters. What I love the most about Ron Paul is his ability to stand up and speak so we all can understand. We want to be left alone and he will fight for our individual rights

I, and many other philosophy students, are completely in favor of Ron Paul. He is the first candidate I can remember who is more interested in ideas than pleasing people. He wants to know what people *think*, what ideas form them. He, too, has ideas: subsidiarity, humility in foreign policy, liberty.

-How is he going to transition from Income Tax to No Income tax ( Time table , steps)
-What will he do to save the dollar ?
-What happens to the people that have been paying Social Security for years
and decide to opt out- Will they get a refund?
-Will he outlaw lobbying?
-Who is he going to pick as vice president?
-What will he do to stop bureaucracy in gov agencies?
-Will he change to law to make it fair for third party condidates to run as President?
Ron Paul is my HERO
I stayed up all night last night reading the 50 page CFR report on their adjenda to erase boardars between Mexico and Canada. I watched videos on the comming “AMERO” which will be our currency when they bankrupt the dollar and force us into the North American Union with Mexico and Canada. I watched videos of Canadian Citizens protesting in outrage over the same loss of sovreignty we are, and then they were shot with pepper spray and tier gas. The final stages of this ROCKAFELLER PLAN includes the implimentation of the National ID card that comes into LAW May 2008, and ends in total elimination of currency to addopt RFID Chips in your hands or in your head that have images, account numbers, your money, and your location everywhere you go. We will no longer be citizens of a free country, but tagged cattle in a Nationally ERASED state of beings, no more “I pledge alegience to the Flag”, no more USA. God Bless us all, because we need your help right now oh Lord.

It is clear that RP supporters are strong on the internet, but how are we going to reach the baby boomers and old folks who just don’t spend time on the internet? (I, at almost 62, think I am certainly in a minority of computer literate boomers.) RP gets so little media coverage that I would imagine a lot of them write him off as a kook for the brief sound bites they get of his statements about getting rid of the Federal Reserve and the IRS. It seems to me there needs to be a campaign of mass snail mailings and a directing of them towards Aaron Russo’s documentary, “America, From Freedom To Fascism”, available at freedomtofascism.com, so their eyes can be opened. Just a note regarding Independents. I am frustrated when I see Lou Dobbs, someone who I believe is fighting the good fight, convincing people to switch their party affiliation to Independent. This is not going to help RP in the Republican primaries. I only hope that if he fails to get the nomination, he will run as an Independent.
Wake up America! WE THE PEOPLE need to take back our Republic!
