“Move,” Horn can be heard saying on the tape. “You’re dead.”

Horn redialed 911 and told the dispatcher what he’d done.
“I had no choice,” he said, his voice shaking. “They came in the front yard with me, man. I had no choice. Get somebody over here quick.” [1]
Pasadena Capt. A.H. “Bud” Corbett said both men were shot in the back. [2]
It boils down to “choices” and “versions” of the truth.
What “choices” did Joe Horn have on that day, the day he shot two men to death in the front yard of his neighbor’s home?
I had no choice.
Was it true, that Joe “had no choice?”
Joe refused to answers any questions from the Houston Chronicle reporter instead relying on his lawyer, family, and friends to describe what kind of guy Joe is and to tell his “side” of what happened. The 911 tape tells another side, not unlike the great 1950 Japanese movie, Rashomon where a crime is committed and then retold from differing points of view.
There’s Joe’s attorney’s version, the police version, the autopsy which showed the two men were shot in the back and the 911 tape, the version of Joe speaking with the operator.

If a person is facing me and a threat, and I decided to shoot them, by the time my mind and trigger decide to pull the trigger, they could turn away and be shot in the back. At the time the call to shoot was good, but after fact might look bad.

Finally! This man’s actions were nothing short of heroic. These were two ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. They didn’t come here with dreams of a better life to escape oppression. They came here to rape our culture and make a mockery of our liberties. I am so sick of these anti-American scum using our constitution as protection while they literally rape our country.
Texas Law should be federal law. He called the cops. He said for them to come quickly, he said they were armed. The 911 operator told him not to go out, not to protect the CRIMINALS but to protect this man. He pays taxes and has a right to go outside whenever he likes. And if he chooses to, while some low-lives are committing a crime across the street, does he not have a right to protect himself, regardless of Texas law? And lets not forget to ask the question, what would these illegal immigrants have done, had they broke into a house occupied by a mother and her child? Say sorry and move on to the next house, at best?

About 9 years ago a guy found a burglar in his Pensacola Beach home, fired once and missed, then chased the burglar 7-8 blocks, then shot the burglar repeatedly until he was dead. Jury came back with the same verdict…NOT GUILTY! A few years ago a Pensacola convenience store owner (a Korean LEGAL immigrant) racked up his 8th kill on an armed robber who had just robbed his store, he shot him twice in the doorway as the guy was going out, the finished him off with two to the head while the guy was lying down in the parking lot!! Jury sez…NOT GUILTY!! I LOVE FLORIDA!!
Those Blasted Liberals just don’t understand how pissed off middle america is about criminals and how the criminal justice system doesn’t work. We’re tired of the robbers, the rapists, the child molesters & the rest…they had best be ready to see justice served one way or the other!
