It uses effective methods of though reform on it's members. If people understood these points fully they would have no problem with the organisation being banned or it's activities being heavily monitored and restricted. Scientology's purpose is to make money through the propagation of scientology. It is an organisation that is clandestine and is a direct threat to freedom of speech and freedom of thought. The residents of clearwater had no choice in their town being over run by scientologists. Would you like where you live to be like Clearwater? Razad, by all means DO ask the Clearwater folks what they think of the Church. It has invested millions with millions more in the pipeline in downtown Clearwater.
