It was obvious that his contributions to the debate sided with Clinton. I felt the Rep. candidates did a good job answering the question, yet Kerr felt they did not answer it.

Sounds to me like "dirty politics"

So funny to read the blog comments where the pro-gay in the military people pipe up about what a "real issue" this is, and lets just forget that the guy who asked the question works for Hilary. What part of the fact that this is a Republican Primary Debate do these people not get? For the ill informed, it means Republicans will be choosing their candidate to run in the general election. Though I'm not positive, I think it is safe to say that NONE of the republican candidates are truly for openly gay people in the military. It is not a Republican platform.

Essentially, CNN wasted our time pitching their left wing agenda by setting up questions much better suited for debates of the general election. Nearly all the questions were about: 1) Gays in the Military 2) Americas image abroad 3) Getting out of Iraq and 4)Abortion. Practically absent: Jobs, Economy, Healthcare, Threat of Iran, National Security.

All told, the usual pathetic showing by CNN. The sad part is they make Bill O'Reillys show boring, as you know he is going to be beating on CNN yet again tomorrow. There must be something better to report on than how badly Britney and CNN suck these days.

It's obvious this guy was a plant and most likely by Cooper himself. Bill Bennett pointed it out to Cooper in the post debate analysis and Cooper acted like the cat who ate the canary. And even tried to convince us that he nor CNN knew Kerr was a Clinton operative. C'mon, of all people who would know it is Anderson Cooper!

One can only hope this story gains big legs like Hillary's last staged event and her poll numbers tank.

This is the story of the night. Not the screaming chimps on stage.

Good reason not to believe anything one reads, sees, or hears in any media, especially if political in nature, and not just "Main Street Media". Question is, then who do you believe? If you have to ask, you haven't been paying attention, and you probably will never know, so go ahead and believe whomever and whatever you want, just please don't vote.

Don't over think it. CNN recognized that this respected General is in a very unique position to comment on this very real issue. At a time when the US armed services have to lower the educational requirments, and change their polocies on prior criminal records, in order to meet their targeted enlistment numbers,
I would hope they would modernize their thinking on this issue. Would we really rather have uneducated criminals, than gays?

Once again CNN shows its true colors, the Clinton New Network. As always they attempt to sandbag the RNP and the President in any way possible. This is one of the few times that I watch CNN, when they have a Republican only debate. I am tired of the Main Street Media, I use that with vain, going after talk radio then they openly attempt to interject the Clintons into every even in the campaign. I feel this shows even more reasons to distrust CNN.
