I was so turned off by the legal wranglings that I had no idea that the ONLY 2 teams to compete in the Americas Cup was Alinghi and Oracle, that's friggin ridiculous!!!

When did it come down to 2 rich little boys with a point to prove?

This is definitely the death of the true spirit of sportsmanship for the Americas cup, when 2 teams with the most money can manipulate the event to suits themselves excluding other countries from competing.

And who the hell wants to see that?...who's racing today...uhm...Oracle and Alinghi, and how bout today?, same as yesterday.

That's right, you blink, you miss the entire regatta, a frickin joke, I won't get to see our boys in Team NZ compete for goodness knows how long and who's to say they'll even be able to afford it?

Go back to the traditional single hull, let everyone compete and let skill and talent be the deciding factor in who wins, not who has the deepest pockets.

Why are there no American teams listed in the 19 teams for the 2010 Americas Cup?

Somehow Outer Mongolia seems like an unlikely venue, last time I looked at the map it was land locked!

And yes indeed the Red Sails did have a great breakfast menu.

The wind sucked in San Diego, but it certainly was a great place to have fun.

Thanks, you got me up on the last ten years of cup sailing. Now I know why I have't bothered. Too many lawyers, not enough beating up wind. I miss the odd breakfast at Red Sails in SD, however. At least, have the cup races in a city where there is some decent food. No, I'm not thinking of Ulan Baatar. Cheers
