If you look at where most Americans place gun control, it's way down on the list. A poll at Unity08.com shows Americans are more concerned about major problems like energy independence, health care, and education. Think about which issues affect us most, and the GOP is weak on most counts. But they can sure whip up the band over abortion, gay marriage, and gun control. (Did he run into Jesus there?) If I heard of some stranger I didn't know calling his time at a gun show "a day in paradise," he's definitely a person I wouldn't want anywhere near me.
