Regarding your worries about Columbia's finances, rest assured that all is well.  The current Columbia Campaign has already raised 2.7 billion of its 4 billion target and that figure, 67.5% of the total, was collected in just 43% of the time (after just 3 of 7 years).  $400 million of that figure is slated to get Manhattanville started.  Given that the new campus will emerge over 30 years, there should be at least another one or two large campaigns that will undoubtedly pay for the rest.</description>
