Pedophilia is a sexual attraction towards individuals that have not physically matured in the sexual aspect. Culturally, children are innocent and know nothing of what it means to have "sexual urges". So, they don't understand when grown men view them as a release to those urges, even if they know what sex is. The fact that children are not aware of the meaning of sexual urges, and the fact that they can't understand the consequences only proves that they should not be any sexual object towards anyone. Having sexual desires for something that is non-sexual (such as animals, children, objects, or even corpses) is then a mental disorder, plus has many other reasons too. Homosexuality is deviant. However, their sexual desires are directed towards people who are sexually developed. They are both capable of understanding what sexual urges are. The disagreement on this is mostly religious and political. It boils down to this: If two men (or two women) are old enough to want to have sex, then so be it. It won't effect us. If a man or woman wants to have sex with my child (or yours, or anyone elses) then that's a problem...a big problem. Which one would effect you, homosexuals or pedophiles?
