Who is getting ripped off in the first place? Where does the rich get their money? The less than rich. Who arbitrarily raises the price of oil? The rich. Who pays the difference? The poorer because the rich leveraged them to do so. The rich get richer because they get better and better at ripping off the poor. If you think feeding them McDonald's makes better workers in the cities, you're stoned. Nonetheless, you arrange for that. Every day. Ironically you are undermining your workforce and thereby the class of people who produce your money. Bad management on your part.

You complain that the rich "pay the penalty" for being rich via the 55% taxes yet you forget to mention that the rich avoid so much of their taxes via tax shelters and dealings. 55% is not the real number. Get real. Ask your accountant in your self righteousness. That's 55% of the income the rich couldn't shelter. The poor have no tax shelters. Only bills from the rich.

The poor pay the greater price for having no money to even pay their insurance bill since the rich took all their money from them to do so. That's why our economy would collapse if the poorer didn't consume. A consumption society instead of a service based economy is doomed to failure in the long run. What happens when there is no more to consume? If the poorer than rich weren't "taught" via marketing's propaganda machine to consume what they don't need, the health insurance problem wouldn't exist. This marketing & advertising magnifies their consumption which in turn is the trained behavior that denies them the cash to pay for their insurance. Who is responsible for that "consumption education"? The rich. Who leveraged the less powerful into paying too much? (eg The oligopoly of the oil industry's price fixing. People must spend more, thereby contribute to disempowering the poorer than rich to buy health insurance.) Reality? the rich have been systematically, legally stealing. Who writes the laws? The rich of course.

If you disagree, stop taking from the anyone who makes less than 20,000 a year in the first place. Keep the money that adds to the vitality of this world. It is the rich that causes the health insurance problem by disempowering the poor.
For congress to write a law that enforces mere survival is a tad more noble than the big thefts, who decided to steal from everyone who doesn't have jewels you liken to be a meaningful asset. The rich steal the tire off everyone on the less than rich's block where there are no jewels to steal every day.

Amazingly, you are complaining about theiving one tire back from the big theft stole a tire from the billions already. Empower all the less than rich to keep enough money to pay for their health insurance and I'll commend you & agree with your right to keep your jewelry.

You don't "steal". You force the less than rich to hand over all their money. That's pure leveraging on its face. eg When grocery stores don't exist in most of the cities, all they can get is the McDonald's, the only systematically type of food available to them. Do you eat at McDonald's 5 days out of the week??
Stop stealing every person's front tire & arbitrarily jacking the price of gas for billions of people. Stop creating the health insurance problem or stop your whining about the consequences of your own actions.
