I love Keith Olbermann. He is the best MSNBC has. So what if he gave money to campaign he likes. If he wrote the check on his own time good for him. He did it as a private citizen. It not like he gave billions of dollars. If you take him off the air you will lose alot of viewers. He tells it like it is. What’s the matter MSNBC scared of the Republicans?

Ha. This is laughable. I spend my time watching equal part conservative tv (Fox) and equal parts liberal tv (MSNBC, CNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN), and Keith Olbermann is, without a doubt the most agenda-driven “reporter” on the face of this planet. Sure, the media machine has gone down the toilet these days, but Olbermann does nothing but spin everything to masturbate his secular progressive ego. Yeesh, this is terrifying. Good luck to our America.

I saw your story on Jacksonville, Fl. having the worst Republicans in the country. I partialy agree with you. We have a republican controlled intel community. George Bush Sr. was acting director for ten years. The main CIA building in Langly is named after him. The intel community in Jacksonville is being forced to attack and kill each other. Thier recruiter is the only one who profits from this illegal dog fight. They are all following each other and each others children around the city. Its a terrible shame. Can someone please help me expose this madness.

Keith’s show use to be good. Every single item on countdown now is about politics and nothing else. His view is very one sided and only has guests on that support his opinions. He would never have a guest on that disagrees with him, probably because he is afraid to debate them.

I want Keith to tell us again how many times McCain has mentioned bringing back the draft. Also, are the Republicans forgetting how during the Republican primary they accused McCain of fatheringt a black child, which was not true. Now they are compllaining about personal attacks. I think Karen is really a republican trying to throw us off…I have watched Keith religiously and have never taken him to be against women…and if anything he is for them. He is the most refreshing thing that has hit the news in years.

I never got the impression that he is sexist. I hope that girl is wrong.

Anyway, the reason I am writing is to see if anyone knows how to get in touch with him. I would like to ask him if he would ever consider running for President. Unlike the male living in the white house at the moment, Keith is smart, obviously knows right from wrong, he seems to have Democratic views, wants this stupid “war” to end. Many people know him and there are nine months left in which he could throw his hat in the ring and save us. Is anyone out there? Does anyone agree?

Karen, I think you’re a right winger pretending to be a Democrat! Or maybe you’re watching another show titled “Countdown”. It is obvious to me because I watch Countdown every night and I have no idea what you’re talking about. Never did it once cross my mind from watching the show that Keith was sexist in anyway, that’s ridiculous!
You say you dont want to watch bias media so I truly hope you’re not watching Fox news now.
Keith and his guests provide you with facts first and then he may give you his opinion based on those facts unlike Fox News who blatantly lie!

Yeah I thought Keith Olbermann was the greatest thing in the world there for a while too. And then I noticed he frequently made misogynistic
comments, particularly if a woman was middle-aged. Then came the interview in Playboy where Keith told the world that it worried him that his fan base looked more like Leona Helmsley than J-Lo and that he only wanted the J-Lo’s as his fans. Nice. Add in that he’s living with a 23-year old when he’s close to 50 and that told me pretty much everything I needed to know about Keith Olbermann. I used to post frequently on a Democratic-based website that things Keith can do no wrong because he slams the GOP. I stopped posting in that particular forum several months ago as I began to realize that Keith had some issues and that he wasn’t quite the Perfect Anchor and Man his fans liked to believe he was. I miss them but I don’t miss watching Countdown. As Olbermann’s popularity increased, I noticed so did the snarky comments against women. The obession with Bill O’Reilly and Fox became increasingly repetitive as did the same four or five guests on every episode. Olbermann is best in small doses and if you’ve seen one show, you’ve pretty much seen them all. That’s the problem. He’s great when you first discover him but the novelty wears off very quickly. While I’ve enjoyed hearing him go after BushCo, in the back of my mind it always worried me that someone holding themselves out as a newsanchor was so clearly biased. I don’t want to see biases in my newsanchors anymore than I want to see them make sexist or racist comments. So no more Keith for me. It was fun while it lasted but like the guy you dated who you knew you shouldn’t be, Keith’s in that fond memories, but sorry wouldn’t do it again category.
