I had high hopes for this movie being interested in that period of history. As another reviewer already commented the cinematography and costumes were wonderful. However, the movie made a very interesting historical period seem boring. I kept thinking when will the moving "get going". It never did. The movie failed as a drama, as a historical biography, as a romance, and as an examination of the price an individual must pay to be a leader. This movie is a flop. I want my money back.
