(Birmingham, UK) The multi-talented Rozagy, a mother of two children who was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of autism has hit the airwaves in the United Kingdom with a cover version of ‘Open Every Door,’ the song for autism. Rozagy is a gifted musician who is based in Birmingham.
Radio stations in the UK have been playing ‘Open Every Door’ in Autism Awareness Week which runs from 1st October – 7th October 2007.

Autism Awareness Week has been organised by the Autism Alliance in the UK.

Rozagy has caused a great deal of excitement in the music world – she is the first musician with Asperger’s Syndrome to a release a song for autism in the UK. ‘Open Every Door’ was written by the Sri Lankan superstar Nimal Mendis who lives in Hillingdon.

Mendis has joined musicians in the UK in calling on Prime Minister Gordon Brown to do more for all people with autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. His call to the Prime Minister was released in Autism Awareness Week.

Rozagy’s cover version of ‘Open Every Door’ is also on the soundtrack of an Autism Action DVD filmed by the renowned Ian McLeod and sent to Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Sir Ming Campbell. The Autism Action film has also been released on You Tube.

Autism is a neuro developmental disorder, according to estimates over 500,000 people in the UK are on the autism spectrum.
