As for the shoes....how do we know Matt even knew about them? There is reason to think that Mary may have been leading a double life. From a message board on Dateline: "What about Mary smoking and drinking in a bar bragging about killing her husband? This was captured on a cell phone by a couple in the bar and shown on local news.
