Bush and his co-conspirators are in power. The only way to hold him accountable, and make him compromise is to make him fear repercussions for his actions. The only way to do this is to threaten, or actually go through with impeachment. The Republicans would do it in a heartbeat (hell, they did!). The Democrats need to go for the jugular. As long as Bush's veto pen is the absolute final say in all matters, we will go nowhere. And my friends will be forced to keeping going off to a war that none of them understand.
