"Nothing is Private" comes within a year of "Hounddog," the film in which a 12-year-old (Dakota Fanning) is raped on screen.

Total garbage. Roger Friedman of Fox News was one of the first to jump on the bandwagon and criticize Hounddog sight unseen, claiming that Dakota participated in a "graphic" rape scene. After actually watching the movie and discovering no graphic rape scene actually existed, Friedman changed his tune and claimed the rape scene was "suggestively graphic." Bullshit. Either it's suggestive or it's graphic, it can't be both. The truth, of which Friedman and his fellow bible beating idiots are apparently afraid, is that Dakota is not raped onscreen. It's all implied through shadows. She merely portrays a young rape victim, a tragedy which occurs daily. Too bad idiots like Friedman and his bedmate Bill Donohue can't handle this simple fact.

I just blogged about this as well. I think that the guy who made Nothing is Private and the people who gave him money to shoot it are culpable in the continuation of child sexual abuse in this country. Thanks for putting this on here.

In the rape scene in Hounddog, what you see is a closeup of Dakota's hand and face. You hear her scream in darkness.
