Well, at least that’s what they call the film in German. In one of the strangest 9/11 twists I have heard yet, it seems that a little five-year-old boy named Mustafa told his kindergarten teacher about a disturbing conversation he had heard while attending his weekly Koran study class at the local mosque in the German city of Duisburg the day before, on September 9th, 2001.

“Even before he took his jacket off,” the teacher reported later. “He came to me and blurted out that he’d come from Arabic school, and that he’d heard some grown-ups talking there. They’d said that a plane was going to hit a big building and that a lot of people would die.”

I am not much of a conspiracy-monger or anything, but things being the way they are these days… Recent reports in the German media make this seem terribly believable to me. And word is that Mustafa’s father was a regular visitor to the mosque, known to hold radical meetings. And German police found a card from this mosque when they searched Mohammed Atta’s Hamburg apartment after the attacks. They also found notes in a number of households of people who attended the mosque with the date September 11, 2001 scribbled on them, along with the Arabic “The program ends”. And it appears that the more the cops dig into this, the more they are finding.

Of course all of this has to come out six years later and not the day before. But, then again, who on this planet (among the uninitiated, I mean) would have believed a ridiculous story like this from a kindergarten teacher on September 10th, 2001? She obviously didn’t. I wouldn’t have, either.
