Must be able to make cold calculated choices knowing it will cause untold anguish and suffering for some while benefiting others. They will often have to misdirect and lie outright in the interest of the Republic. To become President requires one be manipulative and focused on cultivating power. Of course knowing when your acting for the people you serve or simply serving self-interest is the fading art of statesmanship. A Man or Woman who becomes President must on occasion be a cold blooded S.O.B Jimmy Carter for example was a good administrator and is a Great Christian Humanitarian, But He lacked the ability to be a cold blooded killer when it was required. We can all wish and hope for a world where it need not be so but in the morning you still wake up in the one we have. Were it so I would rest better if she does become President, Unlike our current fearless leader who shares those same necessary leadership personality traits." My husband and I sat here for 10 minutes trying to figure this one out. I do not like Hillary Clinton, I loath her for the above reason. I have been and always will be a Biden-Backer and this country will be sorely put if he is not given the nomination or at least Secretary of State or Defense. He does not want VP.
